MARIA
LINDSAY
F E A T U R E D R E V I E W S
"This performance delivered both fireworks and exquisitely wrought moments of more tender lyricism. Lindsay, a compelling and charismatic performer, delivered successive astonishing moments with masterful control of phrasing and nuance.
Lindsay met the demands of Tycho’s eclectic genius, bringing motifs to life with sensitivity. This is a violinist with an incredible bounty of colour, shape and powerhouse technique with which to create expressive effect."
PAUL NOLAN, SYDNEY ARTS GUIDE
"Maria Lindsay, violinist par excellence, [played] with passion, flair and grace. Maria is a wonderful world-class violinist."

Save the Date!
20th and 21st May:
Tommy Tycho: Violin Concerto with Willoughby Symphony Orchestra.
This is a very special performance of the work dedicated to me by the legendary Tommy Tycho, in the beautiful concert hall of The Chatswood Concourse. The string section of the orchestra will be featured like never before as we also perform Bartok's Rumanian Dances and Alla Pavlova's beautiful Monolog. In the second half of the concert, we are joined by the rest of the orchestra for Dvorak's magnificent "A Hero's Song".
